Freezin for a Reason

Join community leaders and caring citizens as we gather together for the 14th Annual Freezin’ for a Reason Sleep Out and Fundraiser! Spend a night on the Winsted Green, bringing awareness to the persistent issue of homelessness in our community and supporting the work of the Winsted Y Homeless Shelter.  Pitch a tent, a cardboard box or sleep under the stars as you experience what it’s like to be homeless for a winter’s night. 

There is no registration fee, however participants/teams are asked to raise funds for the cause and get sponsorships for their night in the cold. Help us reach our fundraising goal of $20,000, and support the ongoing work of our 16-bed emergency shelter.
