Private Swim Lessons
We currently have limited instructor availability at the Torrington branch for private and semi-private lessons.
Please contact Susie Williams at [email protected] to discuss the availability or be added to the waitlist if you are interested.
Lessons are sold in packages of four 30-minute lessons. Winsted YMCA offers a one lesson package for $30 for a 30 minute lesson.
Whether you are interested in getting comfortable in the water for the first time, want to improve your form, or swim faster, we can develop a package to suit your needs.
Private lessons are perfect for those who prefer one-on-one attention. An instructor will work with you to determine the best pathway to help you achieve your goals. For private lessons, you will be able to schedule lessons online.
Semi-private lessons offer similar advantages for two students with one instructor. Days and times are scheduled between you and the instructor.
