The Torrington Y’s Weight Loss Program is designed to help people seeking a healthier weight achieve their goals by making small, modest changes to their daily behaviors and forming sustainable, healthy habits. Rather than advocate for specific or restrictive short-term solutions, this program helps participants build skills for successful lifestyle changes. Participants will attend 12 weekly meetings in a positive and supportive group environment, where they will be given the tools necessary to achieve their self-established goals.
For those without a facility membership (Program Members or General Public participants) the cost of the Weight Loss Program includes 12 weeks of full access to the Y facilities including the strength and cardio rooms, lap swim hours and group exercise classes.
Classes are held on Thursdays from 430-530pm.
