Suspension Training
Tailored for all ability levels, suspension training is a form of resistance training that is done with the aim of developing strength, balance, flexibility, and joint stability simultaneously. Using your own bodyweight and a fitness tool that is made from high quality nylon straps and handles, a certified trainer will move you through a variety of multi-planar, compound exercises. Classes meet twice per week for 45 minutes.

Transformation Challenge
Join us for 12 weeks of empowering change. Focusing on key pillars of wellness: healthy eating, regular physical activity, adequate sleep and staying hydrated. Take advantage of the variety of our fitness facility and certified fitness professionals.
Together, let’s redefine what it means to be healthy and achieve lasting wellness. Join the YMCA Transformation Challenge and embark on a journey towards a happier, healthier you!
Once registered, participants will be scheduled for a one on one orientation and personal training with our Health and Wellness Director, Alejandra. Monthly group meetings will be held to discuss more challenges, share success stories and brainstorm ideas!
The program runs May through July. $25/month.
Earn points for your weekly achievements and share your successes during monthly discussion groups. Stay accountable, motivated and inspired as you embark on a shared journey towards lasting wellness. To earn more points, register for upcoming races (you can even walk!), take YMCA classes, workout at the YMCA gym on your own, schedule lap swims, etc. With your points, you can win the following:
- First place – $75 to Casa Valijo Restaurant
- Second place – $50 to Salt 2.0 Restaurant
- Third place – $50 to Crumbs Café
- Each winner will also win two 30 min. personal training sessions with Alejandra
